Dealing directly with restaurant managers and executive chefs, you’ll be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities whilst also building relationships and developing opportunities within our existing accounts. This is a field based role.
You must have excellent sales skills and a real passion for customer service. You’ll need to be organised, an effective communicator, resilient, determined and target driven. Previous foodservice experience would be advantageous, an appreciation and basic knowledge of Fresh Produce and Ingredients is essential.
The company offers a generous, uncapped commission package on top of the basic salary of £28K - £32K depending on experience.
Position involves:
- Discovering and engaging with new customers for the company through a combination of cold calling, research, and your own network of contacts.
- Onboarding new customers successfully by liaising with our customer services, transport and finance departments.
- Managing accounts, providing high levels of customer service, and developing the range of products supplied to them.
Skills/Requirements:
- Sales experience in the food industry an advantage.
- Prior direct sales experience advantageous.
- May be suited to someone with experience within the wider food industry.
- A passion for food, ingredients, and people.
- Great customer service.
